If you are the coordinator of a consortium: the marketplace is where you can describe how your consortium responds to the requirements of the call topic, what expertise and resources you already have, and what you are looking for in new partners.
If you are a partner looking for a coordinator / consortium: the marketplace allows you to really explain how your organisation could help a consortium to achieve the objectives of the call topic. If you are bringing in-kind contribution to the project, you can also describe this here.
Don't forget that the information you present in your marketplace and your profile will be publicly available, so you should not share information that you would prefer to keep confidential.
